Dear Fliers,
The birds have been training out nicely and they are looking sharp. We will do a short 45-55 Mile toss on Wednesday, and if everything looks good with the birds and the weather, we will fly the 100 Mile activation race on Friday. The birds will be hand scanned into the activation race to check condition and make sure all the chip bands are working.
All birds that return home from the activation race will need activation perch fees and entry fees paid ASAP. You are more than welcome to start sending money this week. If birds that are paid for don’t come home from the activation race, or if they don’t go to the first official race. We will send a refund check.
Activation Perch Fee – $75 per bird (Required)
Entry Fee – $300 per bird (Required)
Colored Race – $100 per bird (Optional)
3PC 2nd Chance – $200 per bird (Optional)
We will try and post a list this weekend of all birds that qualify for the colored race.
3PC 2nd Chance is simply just and extra entry fee with no handler fee taken out for those interested.
- This year’s Final Race will be 350 miles.
- This year’s 200 mile race station has been moved to 233 in a effort to get a better line of flight.
- At least 75% of the prize money this year will be paid out on the final race.
- The point system will be used again this year to award the top birds, and a few of the top average speed birds will get paid as well.
Activation Perch Fee: $75 Due for every bird that clocks on the Activation Race. (This includes the birds that had a free beginning perch fee.)
